Big Ben is a 5-year-old male Doberman/Shepherd mix. He is mostly black with tan and white markings. Big Ben weighs 71 pounds so he literally is 'Big' Ben. This big guy is active and playful but a bit skittish until he gets to know you. Since he is a frisky fellow; Big Ben would appreciate a nice fenced yard to hang out in and play. We think he is going to make someone an excellent dog--once he gets over his initial shyness. We believe he would be a good family dog who would enjoy having children in his new home. If you would like to add a big dog to your family--Big Ben would be just what you are looking for! Dogs and puppies may be adopted for a fee of $120. All cats and kittens may be adopted for $50. PAHS is also offering the Better with a Buddy Program; if you adopt one kitten for $50, you may adopt his or her buddy for half price ($25). Adoption fees for pure breds may be higher and will need to be discussed with the Shelter Director. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), 30 days of insurance (as requirements met), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.
